Epik to the High Manila

Manila, Philippines – South Korea’s legendary hip hop group, Epik High brought the house down during their concert parade last Saturday, April 18 at SM North Skydome.

The charismatic trio, Tablo, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz definitely exceeded fan’s expectations as they delivered a grandeur hip hop performance.

Fans went wild and crazy as Epik High graced the stage performing their setlist such as Encore/Raise the Curtain, Fly, Up, Burj Khalifa, It’s Cold, Umbrella, Map the Soul, Happen Ending, Love Love Love, Kill This Love, Hot Technology, New Beautiful, and Fan while the crowd pumped up as the trio performed their version of Taeyang’s Eyes, Nose, Lips.

Considered as first timers in the Philippines, Epik High keeps on showing fondness about the country’s weather and Filipino beauties. They also thrilled the fans as they tried to speak Tagalog phrases like “salamat po”, “nag-enjoy ba kayo”, and “ang galing niyo”.

It was also a night full of fan service and crazy antics, Epik High did some autographs, took some selfies through phone cameras borrowed from lucky fans, and showed some epic dance moves with DJ Tukutz as their dance machine.

Epik High ended the show with the crowd’s favorite, Born Hater and Don’t Hate Me. They promised to come back and teased the crowd that it will be for YG Family Concert.

It was indeed an Epik to the High night for all the Filipino Highskoolers.
