Unlike other occasions, Taeyang stands alone without his other 4 members for support. He fills the stage with his cherished dancers and carefully hand-picked band but nothing fills the void that his members left behind. During his final comments, he brought tears to his fan’s eyes when he said, “I’m the happiest when I’m with my members of Big Bang”.

Holding himself up to a crowd of 5,000 strong, he belted out an impressive set list of 18 specially curated songs — Including the best hits of his solo career such as ‘Eyes, Nose, Lips’ as well as Taeyang’s classics, ‘Wedding Dress’ and ‘Only Look At Me’. He also managed to pull off ‘Bang Bang Bang’, ‘Fantastic Baby’ and ‘Good Boy’, with help from the fans of course.

Although he didn’t go half naked like what his fans probably wanted him to do, it is collectively agreed that the highlight of the night was during ‘Eyes, Nose, Lips’, where his fans sang together in unison.

Singapore’s VIPs also organised a fan project, where they pulled out white banners with “We’ll always be here for you, Youngbae-ah” written on them. He was visibly surprised and rather shocked that when he looked up and saw a sea of white banners waving along to ‘Last Dance’.

Other than singing and dancing, he also showed off his skill on the piano. Playing the entire of ‘Last Dance’ on a piano, his fans were definitely blown away by his charm and sincerity from his effort.

While ‘White Night’ was filled with highlights, it felt a lot more toned down than what would be expected in a regular Big Bang concert. This is probably his way of slowly withdrawing from his fans while he gets ready to enlist into the army. As he wishes to be back with his members for a full-fledged concert, we’re hoping it happens too!
