For the premiere episode of Asia’s Next Top Model 3, contestants showed host Georgina Wilson and model mentor Joey Mead King their natural runway skills. With the help of the Model House, the girls bonded together by practicing and supporting each other with their runway walks.
The challenge was held in Suntec City, where the contestants showcased their catwalk skills in front of an audience – but with a twist. Contestants had to show their confidence in their bodies by modeling high fashion swimwear in a jungle environment.
While some steal the limelight, others fell victim to catwalk blunders. Some of the contestants did not feel natural in front of the camera and struggled with their poses during the photoshoot. The initial deliberation was the contestants’ first experience of getting critiqued by professionals in the fashion industry – for some models, it was all too much to handle.
For episode 1, Amanda from the Philippines emerged as the winner for the swimwear photoshoot.
The upcoming episode 2 will feature the contestants in a K-POP group photo shoot.
