After Chesca’s elimination in episode 5, Monika was feeling alone now that her bestie in the house was gone. Meanwhile, Tahlia still felt that Monika was a basic model and was threatened by her recent winning streak in the challenges.

Joey Mead King and Fashion Director of Zalora.com – Meghna Mistry, greeted the girls and judged their outfits of the day. Meghna shared her tips and tricks on how to dress for castings, and how to ramp up plain outfits. Top model tip: Always wear your highest heels during a casting to showcase your height.

For the first challenge, the girls battled it out in a fashion face-off and the winner of the challenge got an extra 5 minutes in their photoshoot, while 5 minutes was taken away from another model. Tahlia had the power in this challenge, using it strategically to knock the confidence out of her rival.

Time is of the essence for the catalogue photoshoot challenge in this episode. Each girl was given only 15 minutes to model 3 different looks for Zalora. Aimee’s weight problem caused a wardrobe malfunction on-set and Barbara struggled to meet the brief.

This week marked the middle of the competition where the judges saw who was the most well-rounded model and who was still stuck in their own shell.

For the upcoming episode 7, the models prepared for a fierce and exhilarating shoot, where they wear nothing except for body paint.
