Korea’s leading entertainment conglomerate, CJ E&M, has announced the launch of its latest venture in Singapore – tvN Movies – world’s FIRST & ONLY Korean Blockbuster movie channel, on 11 January 2017 at 11am (SGT) via StarHub TV (Ch. 818).
To celebrate the launch, tvN Movies has prepared a series of launch activities:
Preview of The Age of Shadows
tvN Movies presents The Age of Shadows that will be in cinemas from 5 January 2017, the movie surrounds Lee Jung-chool (Song Kang-ho 宋康昊), a Korean police captain in the Japanese police force, who is given a special mission to infiltrate the armed resistance fighting for Korean independence led by Kim Woo-jin (Gong Yoo 孔刘).
Star tour of MASTER with attendance of Gang Dong-won & Kim Woo-bin
The second wave of the launch series include a Star Tour for Korean blockbuster movie, MASTER, proudly presented by tvN Movies. Leading actors Gang Dong-won姜栋元, Kim Woo-bin 金宇彬 and director Cho Ui-seok 曹谊锡 will be attending various events such as Meet-and-Greet Session at Plaza Singapura and the Gala Premiere held at Capitol Theatre. MASTER is co-distributed by Clover Films, Shining Entertainment and Golden Village Pictures in Singapore and the movie opens island-wide on 13 January 2017.

The grand finale of tvN Movies’ launch series is happening on 13 January with the attendance of popular Korean artists Shim Eun-kyung 沈恩敬and Yeo Jin-goo 吕珍九.
