Singapore’s first ever social cause music festival – Music For a Cause returns with a bigger lineup of bands and beneficiaries. Organized by Love Action Project; Music for a Cause 2017 is presented by title sponsor FRANK by OCBC and hosted on campus by Venue and Event Partner, Singapore Management University on 21st and 22nd January 2017. Powered by Sponsor, the National Youth Council, the festival aims to raise awareness and funds for a total of eight featured social causes, up from five at MFAC16.
Social Causes confirmed to date for Music for a Cause 2017 are; Actions for Singapore Dogs (ASD), Beyond Social Services, Blessings in a Bag, Canossaville Children’s Home, Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter (OSCAS) and The Food Bank Singapore. The featured social causes will each have a dedicated booth allocated to share its story, raise funds, and call for volunteers to support its programs.
