[INTERVIEW] Xander professes his love for Singapore food at Wok The World Cooking Competition

Following Nichkhun’s visit to Singapore weeks back for tvN Asia’s Wok The World, the original production is elevating the experience this time round with Wok The World Cooking Competition!

For this episode, five home cooks from Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines had a cooking showdown at Adventure Cove Waterpark, Resorts World Sentosa.

All contestants were required to make use of the limited edition sesame oil as well as dark and light soy sauce especially made for Wok The World, produced by Chee Seng Oil and Kwong Cheong Thye, respectively.

The cooking showdown saw world-renowned chefs, Alvin Leung, Eric Chong and Li Kwok Kwong, along with Alexander Lee (more popularly known as Xander) as the panel of judges, grading the contestants’ dishes according to the taste and presentation, as well as on the creativity and inspirations behind the home cooks’ inventions.
