Singapore– The quintet of Red Velvet was in Singapore for their first full concert ‘Redmare‘. The 5 lasses Irene, Wendy, Yeri, Seulgi, and Joy put on a colourful show at The Star Theatre.
The girls donned their colourful outfits, and brought ReveLuvs through various scenes, as if we were in their dreams. There was good old theme park fun, Indiana Jones-like action, and horror reminisce of scenes from Halloween Horror Nights.
Red Velvet showcased their diverse music styles through their various hits of Russian Roulette, Happiness, Bad Boy, Peek-a-Boo, Red Flavor, Rookie, Ice Cream Cake, and many more.
ReveLuvs were equally impressive with their fan-chants throughout the evening, even for the new songs like Power Up.

The only regret for the night was perhaps for a crying Joy, who needed to leave the concert halfway for an injury to her shoulder. However, it also showed the fans the strong bond between the girls. The remaining members promised to perform even harder in place of Joy, and they definitely made it happen.
The rest of the concert went without further drama, and the members getting more emotional from the support from ReveLuvs. Yeri shared that she was the one who named the mascot robot “Reve”, which apparently meant mystery in French. Seulgi was also quick to point out that she was the one who sketched “Reve”. Wendy was so engrossed that she spoke Korean to the fans, even though she was fluent in the English language; more widely used in Singapore.

Red Velvet member, Joy felt pain on her shoulder during Red Velvet 2nd Concert [REDMARE] in Singapore. She apologized to the audience and was sent to hospital right away. Doctor diagnosed that due to sudden pressure on the muscle, the pain was caused.
ONE Production, SM Entertainment, DREAM MAKER Entertainment deeply appreciate all the concerns from the media and the fans. We will like to assure everyone that Joy is in good condition, and has returned to Korea as scheduled.

The girls promised that they would come back to Singapore, and hope for similar support from the fans. After the concert, concert promoter ONE Production also shared that Joy was ok, and has headed back to Korea with the other members of Red Velvet.
