Fresh off the release of her first full-length album Biggest Fan, IRENE is ready to embark on the next chapter of her solo career. Her first-ever solo Asia concert tour will bring her to Singapore for the 2026 IRENE ASIA TOUR [ I-WILL ] in SINGAPORE, happening on 4 July 2026 (Saturday), 6PM at The Theatre at Mediacorp. As her first solo concert series since debut, the show promises a captivating setlist that showcases her artistic growth and versatility, complemented by polished performances that mark an exciting new milestone in her journey as a solo artist.
Before the highly anticipated show, we spoke with IRENE about the inspiration behind the tour, the performances she is most excited to present, and why returning to Singapore is always a special experience.
| Q: It’s great to have you back in Singapore soon for your first-ever solo Asia concert tour following the release of your first full-length album, “Biggest Fan”! What has been the most memorable part of this recent period for you? |
| IRENE: What stays with me the most are the moments when ReVeluvs chanted along to the songs and when we filmed challenges together. It was just so cute to see them learning the steps so hard and staying so focused. |
| Q: During preparation for your solo concert, was there a particular part of the performance you kept reworking or paying extra attention to? Out of the ten tracks in your new album, which track are you most excited to perform for Singapore ReVeluvs? |
| IRENE: I’d have to say almost every single part. Since it was my very first time, we kept building and layering ideas onto every single opinion. I want to show my best side to Singapore ReVeluvs for every single song, but if I had to choose, I’m most excited about ‘Black Halo‘ and ‘Spirit Out‘! |
| Q: Now that “Biggest Fan” is out, if you could build your next solo project completely from scratch, what kind of sound or concept would you want to explore next? |
| IRENE: For this concert, we rearranged ‘Rookie‘ and ‘Russian Roulette‘ into jazz and city-pop styles, and ReVeluvs loved it so much! So, I’d love to fully explore and try out that kind of sound next time. |
| Q: Over the years, Singaporean ReVeluvs have met you through different chapters of your career, from Red Velvet to IRENE & SEULGI. If you could have a conversation with the IRENE who first performed in Singapore, what would you want to tell her? |
| IRENE: I’d want to tell her: ‘Trust yourself, and just have a wonderful and fun time with Singapore ReVeluvs’! |
| Q: Lastly, do you have any message for your Singapore ReVeluvs who are looking forward to your first-ever solo Asia concert tour? |
| IRENE: This is the first time we are meeting through my solo concert, and I’m so incredibly grateful to you all for waiting for me. Let’s make some unforgettable, fun memories together! |
