Seoul to Singapore – Reveluvs should be on high alert, as popular K-Pop girl group Red Velvet is finally coming. The quintet kicked off their concert “Redmare” in Seoul earlier this month; where the girls performed to two sold-out shows over two days to some 10,000 fans in total. It was earlier reported that they will be starting off their concert tour in Bangkok on 8 September, followed by Taipei and Singapore.
Red Velvet is one of the hottest K-pop girl groups in the scene now. Their second album Perfect Velvet, released last November, topped the Billboard World Albums Chart. Their latest mini-album Summer Magic, which was released earlier this month, topped the iTunes Albums chart in 28 regions. The lead single of the album Power Up also dominated South Korean charts, achieving what is known as an “all-kill” by topping various major music charts as well.
Having last visited Singapore with their seniors SHINee last November, for the Shilla Beauty Concert; Reveluvs can now look forward to a more complete concert experience. The group comprising of members Irene, Yeri, Joy, Seulgi and Wendy, will be performing live on Oct 20 at The Star Theatre.
