Red Velvet’s Irene And Seulgi Found Their [ BALANCE ] With Singapore ReVeluv

Singapore welcomed Red Velvet’s first sub-unit, IRENE & SEULGI, on 4 July for their highly anticipated 2025 IRENE & SEULGI Concert Tour [ BALANCE ] in SINGAPORE at The Star Theatre. The duo certainly lived up to the high expectations ReVeluvs had, delivering a memorable night filled with captivating performances and perfect chemistry. The Singapore concert also marked the first international stop of their tour.

The show kicked off with their latest release, “TILT“, as the pair strutted onto the stage in sleek black outfits. Irene wore her hair down, while Seulgi styled hers in a chic bun, visually representing the contrast and harmony that are central to the theme of the tour. They explained that they were trying to convey the process of finding their balance, and hoped that the audience could feel the perfect balance between Irene and Seulgi through this tour.

Together, Irene and Seulgi also took to the stage with their popular dance tracks like “Naughty”, “What’s Your Problem?” and “Monster“. Their vocals complemented each other beautifully, while the choreography kept the audience captivated from start to finish. “Be Natural“, with its elegant chair choreography, brought a more intimate, alluring energy to the stage, captivating the audience with its sweetness and charm.

The setlist also featured unforgettable solo performances! Seulgi wowed the crowd with her powerhouse rendition of “Baby, Not Baby“, a definite fan favourite of the night. Though it was her first time performing “Baby, Not Baby” in Singapore, Seulgi was impressed by how good the fan chants were. She mentioned that she too, gave her very best effort, especially since it was her first time performing the song in front of Singapore fans.

Seulgi’sBetter Dayz” was also a crowd favourite, featuring a sultry dance break that showcased her vocal strength and showed off her amazing figure. Her ability to sustain long, powerful notes throughout the performance was particularly impressive. During one of the talk sections of the concert, Seulgi got the crowd excited when she expressed her desire to memorise all of Irene’s solo choreography during the tour.

Irene’s performance of “Like A Flower” was equally well-received and drew excited screams from the audience. “Ka-Ching” was another track from Irene’s solo set that received loud and enthusiastic fan chants. Irene even joked that fans would have been disappointed had she not included that particular track in her set. Admitting that at first, she felt nervous performing alone on stage, Irene stated that the overwhelming passion and cheers from the fans gave her the strength to push through.

As she introduced her solo stages, Irene also had the crowd laughing with her witty sense of humour. She shared how much thought went into selecting her songs, despite having not that many songs to choose from in the first place. Irene also had everyone chuckling when she playfully asked how fans managed to perfect their loud fan chants at home without their families noticing.

The encore began with a surprise as the two artists reentered the venue through the side doors and walked through the crowd, allowing fans to get up close to them. Seulgi expressed how happy she was to connect with fans personally, thanking them for their love, passion, and cheers. She also expressed her hope to return to Singapore soon. Irene reflected on how grateful she was to perform in different countries. She said that meeting their fans and witnessing their happiness deeply touched her, adding that she hoped the concert would remain an exciting memory for everyone who attended.

The night ended on a high note with a thrilling, dance party-like performance of Red Velvet’sZimzalabim”! With confetti flying and everyone on their feet chanting “Zimzalabim”, it was absolutely spellbinding, hilarious and unforgettable!

We look forward to all that lies ahead for IRENE & SEULGI as well as Red Velvet, and will continue to cheer for each member as they grow and evolve. Until we meet again, Zimzalabim!
