Who needs glass slippers like Cinderella when you can have holographic, sparkly and badass glass nails like these?

This is the recent nail art trend in Korea, called “유리 네일” meaning Glass Nails. These nails are made with decorative “crack glass flim” or “Holographic film” to create a futuristic and reflective effect. Even huge brands like Etude House are selling the glass films and made a micro video on instagram featuring how to DIY this at home with your own gelish sets.
After scouring through the net for Glass Nails that does not require a gelish set up we finally found one! Look below to find out more! ???
Items you will need:
- Base nail polish colour of your choice
- Base coat
- Top coat
- Hologram Film/”Glass film”
- Scissors
- Tweezers
Apply desired base colour after base coat. Different base colours brings out a totally different look depending on your choice.
After matching size of film to the size of your nails, cut the film into your desired shapes or triangles to match the shape of shattered glass pieces.
Apply film pieces to painted nails.
Apply a top coat to secure the pieces in place. Tadah! Holographic nails done!
