“What’s Up Singapore!”
Korean-American singer Eric Nam warmly welcomes his fans as he recently dropped by Singapore after more than a year with his new tour . As the second leg of his current Asia tour, the multi-talented artist was unable to hold his excitement as he performed a total of 18 songs on 18 February 2024, at The Theatre at Mediacorp.

The show started with “Sink or Swim” and “Undefined” from his latest album, House on a Hill. Eric Nam gave his introductions and quipped on how glad he was to be back in Singapore, before grooving on to another series of dance songs – “Any Other Way”, “You’re Sexy I’m Sexy” and “Wildfire”.

Eric Nam often describes his concerts as Ted Talks, as he enjoys talking and sharing with his fans on his journey through performing and releasing his albums. While recounting the making of his new album, he explained how he wrote it while thinking about getting through another day, or his times experiencing ‘existential crises’. Fans croon to his voice with “House on a Hill” and “Exist”, as they turned on their phone lights and sang along with him.

As of his usual concerts, Eric Nam identified fans celebrating their birthdays on the day itself, performing a happy birthday song to them, before moving on to more songs, such as “Don’t Leave Yet”, “Paradise”, “I Wish I Wasn’t Me” and “Love Die Young”. Eric Nam even gave the fans a laugh as he performed a short skit of one’s hangover night not wanting to go home.

Moving on, Eric Nam surprised the fans with “Good for You” and “Heaven’s Door”, which he shared he had recently added into the setlist for his new Asia tour. During the ments, he also reminisced his times when he was more active in Korea, before continuing with “Runaway” and “Honestly”.

Since his last show in Singapore in November 2022, Eric Nam shares that he always feels back at home whenever he comes to Singapore and hopes to be back here again soon. With a group photo, and a shout-out video from the fans in Singapore for his vlog, Eric Nam performed his last song “I Don’t Know You Anymore”.

Shortly after the fans shouted for his encore, Eric Nam returned to stage with “Only for a Moment” as well as his finale song “Congratulations”. As the show came to an end, Eric Nam reminded his fans to be happy, healthy and to remember that they are always loved.
