IVE showcases global prominence by performing at one of the world’s largest music festival: Lollapalooza

According to the announcement made by Lollapalooza on their official social media channels on the 19th (local time), IVE’s name was listed in the lineup for the ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’, which will take place at Grant Park in Illinois, USA from 1st to 4th August 2024.

‘Lollapalooza’ is a massive outdoor music festival held annually in Chicago since 1991, an average of 170 popular groups each year, bringing in a total of 400,000 audiences over four days, with 100,000 visitors daily. The festival covers popular music genres such as pop and rock, and has featured performances by artists like Paul McCartney, Metallica, and Coldplay.

Making their debut at ‘Lollapalooza’ for the first time, IVE will perform at ‘Lollapalooza’ in Chicago, the festival’s hometown on August 3rd, Saturday. IVE will join artists such as SZA, Tyler, the Creator, and Blink 182. Among renowned musicians worldwide, IVE is expected to enhance the status of K-pop.

Recently, as part of their first world tour, ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’, IVE held a North American tour in Los Angeles and Oakland.

Continuing the momentum of their North American tour in Fort Worth, Atlanta, Rosemont, and Newark, IVE’s confirmed appearance at ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ will further propel their global presence.

IVE, gaining attention worldwide beyond South Korea, has achieved remarkable success, including entering the Billboard charts just two weeks after debut, staying on various Billboard charts for over a year with releases like ‘ELEVEN,’ ‘LOVE DIVE,’ and ‘After LIKE.’ Publications such as ‘TIME,’ ‘Forbes,’ ‘GRAMMYS,’ and the UK music magazine ‘NME’ have praised IVE and expressed high expectations for their future potential.
