‘MZ Wannabe Icon’ IVE proved global popularity with their first solo concert in the United States since their debut.
On 13th March, IVE successfully held their first world tour, ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The Kia Forum in Los Angeles, where IVE kicked off their North American tour, is a large venue with a capacity of about 20,000 seats.
Despite not having separate promotions and an official debut in the United States after the release of their first English single ‘All Night’ in January, IVE achieved full-house attendance from the beginning of their first North American tour, concluding their first stop.
In this concert, IVE showcased hit songs such as ‘ELEVEN’, which left a strong impression with its unique concept, ‘LOVE DIVE’, which brought IVE their first award, and ‘I AM’, which dominated the music scene last year, as well as engaging the audience with sing-alongs and wave surfing.
Explosive reactions followed the unit performances of members singing pop songs such as Ariana Grande’s ‘7 Rings’, Richard Sanderson’s ‘Reality’, Little Mix’s ‘Woman Like Me’, and REI’s solo performance of NIKI’s ‘Every Summertime’, which she prepared especially for the North American tour. IVE heated up the venue even more by revealing new setlists, stage setups, and VCRs, including a performance of ‘All Night’.
IVE successfully kicked off their North American tour and is scheduled to prove their global power once again by performing at arenas in the United States such as Oakland Arena on the 16th, Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on the 20th, State Farm Arena in Atlanta on the 24th, Allstate Arena in Rosemont on the 26th, and Prudential Center in Newark on the 29th.
Having launched its world tour as a springboard for future global activities, IVE plans to enrich its stages even further through upcoming performances.
IVE expressed their feelings about their first North American concert, saying, “It was a stage filled with excitement and energy, as it was our first concert in North America since our debut. We are truly grateful to everyone who came to see IVE, and it was touching to be able to communicate through music despite the language barrier.”
They also expressed their plans to work hard for the remaining North American tour to repay the love they received and hope everyone will enjoy the concerts until the end.
IVE gained attention from global media beyond Korea since its debut.
