1 June 2015, Singapore – The last tour leg of VIXX Live Fantasia Utopia kicked off in Singapore last Friday night at the Max Pavilion. The charming boys started the night with On And On, Voodoo Doll, Light Up The Darkness and Secret Night, before taking a break to greet their Singapore Starlights.
Ken started the ball rolling for the solo stages as he belted a wonderful rendition of Adele’s Rolling In The Deep. Ravi’s solo stage took a fiercer turn, as he emerged in a black robe with dangling gold chains to do a powerful rap performance of Ghost. Hyuk got fans swooning as he appeared on stage playing the piano and serenaded the audience with Jeff Bernat’s Call You Mine, even ending his solo stage with an “I love you~”.
After a VCR of the VIXX members displaying different (and some cringe-worthy) emotions in slow-motion, the group returned to the stage to continue on with another series of performances – Sad Ending, Say U Say Me and Rock Ur Body. The boys also battled it out on stage to see who had the best dance moves, and Ken managed to clinch first place with his hilarious moves.
Starlights waved their lightsticks along as VIXX sat on stools to perform ballad songs Love Letter and Someday, which was a beautiful sight to behold. This was followed by the next round of solo stages as Leo took the lead, performing Words To Say. Hongbin heated up the stage with his solo dance segment, which was taken over by N who did his dance segment blindfolded.
VIXX reunited on stage, this time in gold outfits, to perform explosive stages of Hyde, Beautiful Killer, Eternity and Error, where they displayed their well-synchronized dance moves as well.
The night was too soon to be over, as an empty heart was shown on screen, which could only be filled up with the passionate cheerings of Starlights, and VIXX returned to stage for encore after the recharged heart hit 100%, starting with Love Equation and then followed by From Now On, You’re My Girl.
The VIXX members expressed their heartfelt thoughts and gratitude to their Singapore Starlights who made their first trip to Singapore a memorable one and they promised to be back again. The concert ended with G.R.8.U on a high note, as Starlights all stood up and waved banners from a fan project as they sang along with VIXX, and it was a beautiful sight amidst the confetti.
