aespa meets with fans in Paris fansign event

AESPA signing autographs in Paris

On October, 3rd, aespa became the first Korean group to hold a fansign event with FNAC, a major french music store.

Actually, a few K-Pop groups already had fansign events when touring Europe. However, those have been held by their concert promoters. Meanwhile, the four-members girl group, became the first Korean artistes to sign autographs at a music store.

While FNAC isn’t specialized in K-Pop, they’ve been known about fans for providing a wide range of K-pop albums. They’ve gone one step further by allowing 200 lucky fans to meet with the girls and get their album signed.

Back in June 2022, it has been announced that aespa and SM Entertainment have signed a contract with Warner Records. The deal entails distribution and marketing promotions of aespa. This event is a proof that the group is reaching beyond just the USA, which often is where Korean companies put their focus.

The event happened at “Fnac des Ternes”. Just like similar events in South Korea, after introducing themselves, the members sat down at a table. Fans could get their album signes while exchanging a few words with each of the members. The members seemed to listen carefully to the fans’ words and made sure to grant them a very unique experience. They even planned for a translator to ensure proper communication between the fans and the members.

K-Pop fans definitely hope that this event will open new opportunities for them. European fans would definitely enjoy to meet their artists up close in the future.

KAvenyou would like to thank FNAC for having is at this event.
