After a long wait from WayZenNi here, WayV finally held their first fanmeeting [PHANTOM] in Singapore on 2nd June 2023.

Beginning with an explosive start with ‘Kick Back’ and ‘Try My Luck’, the group immediately captivated the audience with their mesmerising choreography and powerful vocals.

WayV then took to the stage and introduced themselves in both Chinese and English, also getting WayZenNi to do their greetings. Kun, who sustained an ankle injury in mid-April and was performing seated, assured everyone that he was alright and even stood up to show fans that he was okay, and that he will recover well.

The games segment was overflowing with fanservice as the members took turns to do forfeits, such as ‘ggyu~’ in cute and sexy versions, holding their fellow members’ hands while declaring their love for them, and also the stick-snack game which elicited excited screams from both fans and the other members watching the action.

Donning cute animal headbands from the previous segment, WayV showcased a special stage with dance performances of aespa’s ‘Illusion’, NCT DREAM’s ‘Candy’ and SHINee’s ‘Sherlock’.

WayZenNi were then treated to a breathtaking serenade of ‘Broken Love’, followed by a lively rendition of ‘Dream Launch’ where they got the audience to say ‘hey~’ along with them. Returning to stage oozing with overflowing charisma in black suits for ‘Action Figure’, ‘Diamonds Only’ and ‘Nectar’, the group captivated everyone with their versatility for the various stages.

The fanmeeting came to a close with ‘Phantom’, followed by ‘Good Life’ where a surprise fan event was prepared, with fans holding up banners that read ‘现在开始发酵的幸福’ / ‘It’s Only Up From Here’.

Like what Yangyang said, ‘I hope that today is one of the best days of your life!’ and the group hoped to have more opportunities to return and see WayZenNi again.
