Viu, a leading pan-Asia OTT video service, announced that the highly anticipated third season of its flagship original series, Taxi Driver 3, has premiered at the number one spot on its platform in key markets including Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the GCC region. At the heart of the story is Kim Do-gi, portrayed by Lee Je-hoon, who works for the mysterious Rainbow Taxi Company. The team operates a secret vigilante service, carrying out revenge on behalf of victims who have been wronged.
This strong regional debut follows the series’ record-breaking domestic performance in Korea. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode on Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) earned a nationwide rating of 9.5%, marking the highest premiere for any Korean mini-series this year. The immediate top ranking across these regions highlights the franchise’s widespread appeal and reflects the success of Viu’s content strategy in delivering compelling locally relevant originals to audiences throughout Asia and the Middle East.
