Singapore K-drama fans, did you spot our little red dot in the currently streaming K-drama Spooky in Love? Now Netflix’s No. 2 TV series in Singapore, the romantic comedy stars Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong as a ghost-seeing heir and an ace prosecutor who discover that a single touch makes them an unexpectedly effective duo. They team up to crack unsolved murders.
The drama was filmed at several locations across Singapore, with viewers able to spot familiar sights including Clarke Quay, Kampong Gelam and Lau Pa Sat. The shoot also took the cast to RWS’s The Laurus and the Singapore Oceanarium, with the latter’s grand surroundings featuring in a pivotal scene.
There are also some distinctly local moments to look out for, including a scene where the characters get to try Singapore’s famous king of fruits, durian.
