Following his recent appearance in Singapore for a CELINE event, Park Bogum returned to the city with a different purpose: to spend meaningful time with his fans through the PARK BO GUM 2025 FAN MEETING TOUR [BE WITH YOU] IN SINGAPORE. The fan meeting took place at The Star Theatre, the same venue where he held his previous fan meeting.
This tour marks the 14th year since Park Bogum’s debut, and the title “BE WITH YOU” was personally conceptualized by the star himself. Expressing his gratitude for his fans’ unwavering support and love over the years, he wanted this event to feel like a heartfelt thank-you, celebrating the friendship he shares with his fans around the world.
From genuine interactions to unforgettable performances, here are five highlights we took away from the night:
- Impressive English Skills
Park Bogum communicated primarily in English throughout the fan meeting. He was polite, humorous, and sincere, impressing the audience with his fluency and effort. From explaining pictures he shared with fans to discussing scenes from his dramas, he answered every question warmly and did his best in English.
- A Thoughtfully Planned Experience
It was clear that Park Bogum and his team had poured a great deal of thought into the fan meeting. He prepared a variety of exclusive gifts, including signed Polaroids, original soundtrack CDs, albums, and drama merchandise to give away to lucky fans. We counted over 150 gifts in total!
To ensure everyone could participate, song lyrics were displayed on the screens in both English and Korean during performances. When singing songs entirely in Korean, Park Bogum frequently checked in with the audience to see if they were following along and apologized out of concern that non-Korean-speaking fans might feel lost. Each performance was enhanced by stunning visual backdrops, ranging from scenic ocean views to a cozy campfire setting.
- Mutual Respect Between Park Bogum and His Fans
Park Bogum shared that he went for a morning run around the Marina Bay area on the day of the fan meeting and while a few fans recognized him, they chose to give him space and allowed him to enjoy his time privately. He expressed sincere appreciation for their consideration, noting that it reflected the mutual respect and understanding relationship he shares with his fans. In an industry where stories of stalker fans crossing boundaries are common, this kind of respect is both refreshing and admirable.
- A Multi-Talented Artist Who Deserves His Stardom
Park Bogum has continued to grow as an artist, starring in recent popular dramas such as “When Life Gives You Tangerines” and “GOOD BOY“. He also received praise as the host of “The Seasons: Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile“, where he showcased not only his hosting skills but also his musical talent.
He impressed fans by playing the piano effortlessly while taking impromptu song requests that night. One memorable highlight was his performance of JJ Lin’s Practice Love (修炼爱情), a song he also sang during his previous fan meeting in Singapore.
Although he was alone on stage for most of the evening, Park Bogum made sure the stage never felt empty. He danced, sang, and engaged with the audience throughout the event. At one point, he walked among the crowd, threw hearts, and interacted closely with fans. Despite the event running beyond its scheduled time, he remained cheerful and energetic, even joking playfully as he prepared to say goodbye.
- A Genuine Star Who Values His Fans
One of the most touching moments came when a fan and her daughter flew in from New York to attend the event. The mother shared how Park Bogum had changed her life and mentioned that she was a filmmaker, which prompted Park Bogum to jokingly ask to be cast in her next film, drawing laughter from the audience. Beyond exchanging words and selfies, they also sang a duet together on stage. This was just one example of how the South Korean heartthrob went out of his way to make each fan feel appreciated.
Throughout the evening, Park Bogum repeatedly expressed his gratitude to the audience. He shared that although his fans come from different countries, cultures, and languages, he is deeply thankful to them for watching his dramas and for their steadfast support through the years. His sincerity was evident in every word and gesture, making it clear why he is so beloved not only by fans but also by colleagues in the entertainment industry.
He also reminded fans that he now serves as the 2025 honorary ambassador for Korea Tourism and encouraged them to visit Korea if they have the opportunity and means to do so.
Overall, we laughed and had a wonderful time with Park Bogum. It was, without question, one of the most memorable fan meetings we have attended.
