Bangkok. Hello May, and hello Friday. What could be better than a nice weekend with a nice and sweet dessert with your loved one or by yourself to fulfil your guilty pleasure. Right in the heart of Thailand, we found a pop up store who will satisfy your taste buds with the sweets. The place called “Dessert Warehouse”. The sweets heaven located in Siam Paragon (Ground Floor), Pathum Wan, Bangkok and owned by a famous Thaiand Actor, Model and Writer, Ter Chantavid Dhanasevi. Ter, who you might already heard his name from his masterpiece 4Bia and it’s sequel, opened the shop with his Peak Pattarasaya, also a well known Thai artist.
Cake has been a passion for Peak who started to learn to bake. Peak and Ter started the business online. “It was a small business, we just sell the cake online and later send the cake via delivery service”. A couple years later, the business started to grow, grow and grow. So they decided to open the shop. Now, the shop is ready to serve you from Mon-Sun, 10am – 21pm.
If you by any chance visits Dessert Warehouse, you should try the sizzling-related cake such as hotplate brownies. The hotplate brownie family is the most favorite cake in the shop. The other favorite menu is macaron. At the first, all the cake was made by themselves, but now they hire 9 freelance cooks to fill the demand.
The shop concept was a street truck cake shop inside a shopping mall. So, in Dessert Warehouse, you’ll find a street-style table and benches and a truck-like counter. So, are you in Thailand? Or you might have a plan to visit Bangkok? Why don’t you spend an hour or two to visit Dessert Warehouse and taste the freshly baked cakes.
