For the first time ever, South Korean pop duo, DAVICHI, will be coming to Singapore in January 2017!
The popular female group is well-known for their iconic OST theme song “This Love” from Descendants of the Sun as well as their mega hits such as “8282”, “Don’t Say Goodbye”, “The Letter”, “Beside You”, “Love Is” and more!
Recognised as one of the most influential K-drama soundtrack artistes, DAVICHI’s OST theme songs have been well-received by K-pop fans as well as drama lovers. Their immensely popular OST theme songs include “It’s Okay, It’s Love” from the drama It’s Okay, It’s Love and “Forgetting Love” from the drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. “This Love” from Descendants of the Sun has garnered over 30 million views on YouTube and is nominated for Best OST song for MAMA 2016.
DAVICHI debuted in 2008 with their single “I Hate You, I Love You”, and clinched Best New Female Group at Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2008. Since then, the duo has released two studio albums and six extended plays, which contributed to their consistent commercial success, along with six number one singles in Korea. Over a span of 8 years, they have won numerous awards varying from awards shows (e.g. MAMA, Golden Disk Awards, Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards etc) to music programmes. (e.g. Inkigayo, Show Champion, Show!
