Come 5 June, you can look forward to spending your Saturdays glued to the lives of three mums who will stop at nothing to elevate their children’s lives, and end up pedalling down an unstoppable race fuelled by greed and desire.

If you are a fan of crime thrillers, Voice 4 would be right up your alley. Voice, which aired its first season in 2017, is a high tension and thrilling drama centred on an emergency call centre with a team of employees who races against time to save the victims of real-time incidents. The fourth season, launching on 13 June, is based in the beautiful Jeju Island and stars popular actor Song Seung Hoon and veteran actress Lee Ha Na. Lee will be reprising her role as Kang Kwon Joo, the charismatic director and ace voice profiler of Crime Report Centre.

Quicken the pace and get your heart pumping with supernatural drama Sell Your Haunted House, starring the dynamic duo Hong Ji Ah (Jang Nara) and Oh In Bum (Jung Yong Hwa). Don’t miss the drama’s finale on 10 June!

The spookfest continues with season 2 of Viu Original series Black, a story of a bunian (dark elf from another dimension) who is on a mission to track down his fugitive partner in the human world. He unwittingly falls in love with Sofia, a woman who has the ability to foresee death.

In this season, the team will take action in Jeju, an island in Korea, famous for its tourist attractions.


Looking to indulge in some romance dramas? Perfect for those lonely nights, Viu Original Doom at Your Service is a fantasy romance series starring Park Bo Young as Tak Dong Kyung, a young editor who is dealt a bad hand in life. She meets Myul Mang (Seok In Guk), a messenger between human and gods, and strikes a deal with him to live as she wishes for 100 days. The amazing chemistry between the leads and the riveting storyline make this series a must-watch!

If you are feeling nostalgic, travel back to the 1980s with Youth of May. Set against the turbulent backdrop of the Gwangju Uprising, follow a group of youths as they grow, mature, and fall in love. The drama also features Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si – the pair has starred as siblings in their previous drama together.

Looking for more unconventional stories of love and life? Continue the love fest with Shades of the Heart, a heart-warming Korean movie that follows a novelist with a failed marriage who returns to Seoul seven years later, intending to publish a novel based on his own experiences. Along the way, he meets various strangers that change his perspective and starts weaving another story. This movie also stars the ever-radiant Korean singer-songwriter and actress IU.

Lighten the mood with Ossan’s Love, Hong Kong’s first Boy Love drama – a remake of the popular Japanese drama of the same name. A romantically unsuccessful office worker becomes the centres of affection of two men – his boss and his roommate. Caught in a love triangle, will he open his heart to either of them?

Online fashion model Hyo Jeong begins attending a mysterious yoga class which claims to perfect one’s body shape with three classmates: Mi Yeon, a boxer who failed to keep her body fit; Ji Won, who has an unstable mental condition, and Ye Na, a movie star who is morbidly obsessed with her appearance. Meanwhile, police start to investigate the enigma behind this yoga class after finding out that a murder in the neighborhood was committed by a woman named Bo Ra, a former yoga class student.

Helmed by award-winning director Yoo Ha, this historical movie is set in the Goryeo dynasty and focuses on the relationship between a king and his bodyguard. Under pressure from the Yuan emperor and his own counselors to produce a crown prince and ensure the continuity of the royal lineage, the king initiates a dangerous plan involving his bodyguard and the queen.
