Starring global sensation Park Jinyoung (GOT7) and actress Roh Jeongeui, the highly anticipated Viu Original “The Witch” is a captivating mystery romance that will be premiering on 15 February. This collaboration also marks a reunion for the two actors who acted together in 2012 K-Drama “Dream High 2”.
Based on “Moving” and “Light Shop” author Kang Full’s webtoon, the series tells the story of Mijeong (Roh Jeongeui), a woman known as the ‘witch‘ who was chased away from her village after every man who fell in love with her met tragic fates.
Consumed by guilt over Mijeong’s disappearance, Dongjin (Park Jinyoung) has a chance encounter with her on a subway, reigniting his resolve to uncover the truth and clear her name. However as he delves deeper, a series of mysterious and unlucky events makes his quest all the more perilous.
Can Dongjin expose the secrets behind the curse and bring Mijeong the happiness she deserves?
