Following Korean zombie flicks Train To Busan, Rampant and Netflix hit series Kingdom, there’s another new zombie movie on the block, but with a twist. Unlike the aforementioned films/series, the movie we’re going to introduce is a zombie-comedy, The Odd Family: Zombie On Sale.

Zzongbie, the naive zombie confronts the greatest danger of his life after meeting Park family
Human Bio, the biggest pharmaceutical company in Korea conducts illegal experiments on humans. One day, a test goes wrong and results in the creation of a zombie.
Soon, in the remote countryside, the oddball Park family makes their acquaintance with the zombie in question, Hyun-woo (Jung Ga-ram). Rather than being afraid of this strange creature, the Park family plots to make money out of him, especially after realizing Father Park (Park In-hwan) has his virility restored after a bite by the zombie.

However, the youngest daughter Hae-gul (Lee Soo-kyung) takes a liking to Hyun-woo, and nicknames him ‘Zzongbie, the pet’.
Will Zzongbie make a home with his ‘weirder than zombie’ family?
The Odd Family: Zombie On Sale (기묘한 가족) opens 14 March 2019 in Singapore cinemas.
