EXO-Ls! Doh Kyung Soo (EXO’s D.O.) has officially landed on The Moon. 

THE MOON (starring Sol Kyung Gu, Doh Kyung Soo and Kim Hee Ae) is a Sci-fi, thriller movie where viewers follow Hwang Sun Woo (portrayed by Doh Kyung Soo) on his expedition to the Moon and the incidents that he faced which left him stranded on the Moon during the expedition. Will Sun Woo be able to return home safely? 

This film is directed by Kim Young Hwa whom has also directed Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds and Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days, and it truly brings an amazing cinematic experience that will leave viewers on the edge of their chair every moment of the film. This film also shows Kyung Soo’s full potential as an idol-actor – his acting skills and expressions were so impressive that you could almost feel what Sun Woo was going through in outer space.

Viewers are kept in suspense of Sun Woo’s fate until the very end… and we do not want to spoil anything – but if you get emotional easily, do bring along tissue papers (as we heard some viewers sniffing during parts of the film).

But something I felt that was a pity is that Kim Rae Won’s and Lee Yi Kyung’s parts were too brief albeit important, though it was quite expected since the start because of the movie plot.

Korean movie “THE MOON” premiers in Singapore cinemas from 9 August 2023 onwards. Be sure to catch it and see if Sun Woo returns to Earth safely!
