SORN is in her lover era.
A follow-up (and unofficial sequel) to her most recent release “cool”, SORN collaborates with PENTAGON’s Hong Seok on the highly anticipated track. Hong Seok is also known for his hit dramas “Move To Heaven” and “Blue Birthday”.
“crazy stupid lovers” tells the story of childhood best friends who realise their feelings for each other in adulthood, and is Hong Seok’s first release as a solo artist and since leaving Cube Entertainment in late 2023. The upbeat pop song is described as encapsulating the feeling of being carefree and spontaneous, as well as the exhilarating thrill of breaching the line between friendship and love.
“Hong Seok and I have been close friends for a decade now, and I knew he’d be the perfect fit for this song,” says SORN. “It’s fun because I know fans love to see a member of CLC and a member of PENTAGON collaborating on a song.”
The song is produced and co-written by South Korean singer-songwriter duo LAS, who have also worked on renowned songs in K-Pop including Ive’s “After Like”.
The music video, filmed in Seoul, has been released on the same day. Watch it here:
