K-pop solos to look out for this November

Year end is the season of comebacks with many singers dropping new releases and this time round, singers from popular idol groups are also releasing their own solo albums/singles for the first time. Here’s the upcoming solos we’re looking forward to this month!

SHINee’s Key

After debuting for 10 years, Key is finally making his solo debut, following Taemin and Jonghyun. Not much news have been released about his solo album yet (which apparently will be released in end November), but his solo single, “Forever Yours” – an R&B pop track with a tropical house vibe featuring Soyou, has just been released on 6 November.

Prior to this, the fashionista has also made headlines as he debuted one of his solo songs, Chemicals” (working title) at the recent Seoul Fashion Week, during the CHARMS’ fashion show.

Watch the MV for “Forever Yours” – we’re loving the Back To The Future-inspired concept:

BLACKPINK’s Jennie

YG Entertainment has announced plans for each BLACKPINK member to make their solo debuts, with the first one being Jennie. Her first single, “Solo” will be released on 12 November. The lyrics of “Solo” is written by Teddy, who also co-composed the track.

BLINKs who are attending BLACKPINK’s first Korean solo concert on 10 & 11 November will get to hear the song ahead of its official release, and international BLINKs will also most likely get to catch her “Solo” performance when BLACKPINK embarks on their Asia concert tour.

WINNER’s Mino

Song Mino will be releasing his first solo album, Mino First Solo Album: XX, on 26 November.

Although this will be his first solo album, Mino has released a couple of solo tracks previously. He has first released his solo digital single, “Body” back in 2016, and his solo tracks were also unveiled in WINNER’s albums. In their debut album, he presented his charms with “I’M HIM” and this year his self-penned and self-composed track “Turn Off The Light”, was released in WINNER’s Everyday album and he has also recently performed it during his solo stage at WINNER 2018 Everywhere Tour in Singapore.

Inner Circles can finally heave a sigh of relief as there’s finally a confirmed date for Mino’s solo album release, with Yang Hyun Suk himself giving spoilers about the MV filming.
