Henry Lau Hints At Surprises For His Upcoming Singland Festival Performance in Singapore

An exclusive press conference with Henry Lau was held on Tuesday, 28 October, at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, ahead of the highly anticipated Singland Festival, a landmark celebration marking Singapore’s 60th anniversary. The session brought together members of the media for an intimate discussion with the multi-hyphenate artist, who will be performing on 3 January as part of the star-studded festival lineup.

Singland Festival is Singapore’s first-ever large-scale indoor New Year’s Eve celebration, uniting international talent, cutting-edge live production, and immersive experiences under one roof. Held from 31 December 2025 to 3 January 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, the festival is organised by Season Culture and features a star-studded lineup — Rain (31 December 2025), Terry Lin (2 January 2026), Henry Lau (3 January 2026), and NE-YO (3 January 2026). Set to be one of Singapore’s biggest year-end events, Singland Festival promises an unforgettable convergence of music, culture, and celebration.

Henry Lau shared his thoughts on returning to Singapore and expressed his excitement to share his new songs. 2025 has been a year in which he achieved one of his big goals — releasing new songs — including the fan-dedicated track “I Would” that was recently released on his birthday. When asked about a lyric he would like to dedicate to fans to welcome 2026, he highlighted his latest song “Taijiu“.

Looking ahead to 2026, he will continue releasing new songs and creating a unique stage experience at Singland. He will perform on both the violin and piano, instruments for which he is widely acclaimed. While exploring other instruments he may incorporate, audiences can expect a dynamic stage presence filled with surprises, perhaps even moments that will have fans “尖叫” (screaming with excitement) as he revels in hearing the audience screaming these days.

“The bigger it is, the less nervous I get”, Henry revealed, speaking about the type of performances he enjoys. With Singland Festival being a large-scale music festival, audiences are in for a performance full of his one-of-a-kind energy.
