Crowned as the “Pearl of Asia”, NuNew Chawarin Perdpiriyawong lived up to his title during the Singapore leg of his first solo concert tour. NuNew brought the audience into his musical journey as he performed to a wide range of songs – from Disney classics “For the First Time in Forever” and “Let It Go”, to local singer JJ Lin’s “Practice Love”. NuNew showcased his linguistic finesse during the show as he effortlessly switched between singing English, Thai, Chinese, Korean and Japanese songs. The setlist also included his collaboration song “Blooming Just for You” with Korean Singer Paul Kim, and his Japanese debut track “First Night in Shibuya”. NuNew also performed to his own songs, such as fan-favourite “Ai Kon Narak” and “Your Season”.
NuNew not only impressed the crowd with his vocals, but also his versatility as a performer, turning up the energy with slick moves as he dances to “Water” by Tyla and “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. As a treat just for the Singapore fans, NuNew also surprised with a powerful rendition of “Wu Ji” by Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo, as well as “Ter Yang” by Thai band Potato – a song he noted was surprisingly popular in Singapore.
Arriving ahead of his show, NuNew also took time to enjoy some Singapore landmarks, visiting popular attractions like Universal Studios Singapore and the Fountain of Wealth. The memories were captured in a VCR played during the concert, where fans enjoyed his sightseeing moments and food adventures around the island.

how on an emotional note, NuNew expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all his fans from around the world that turned up for the Singapore stop of his concert tour. He also gave special thanks to “True Love”, the song that introduced him to his fans as a singer, and to songwriter Amp Achariya (P’Amp), whom he affectionately calls his second mother. The concert became even more special when NuNew’s parents suddenly appeared on stage, presenting to him a surprise birthday segment with a cake and a flower bouquet. NuNew was visibly moved by the early birthday celebration, as well as the heartfelt video and banner prepared by his fans, making the night a truly unforgettable one.
NuNew shone brightly throughout the show, marking another milestone to his journey as a true artist. As he continues chasing his dreams with passion, fans in Singapore will surely wait till the day he returns with even more songs and performances to share.
