TILLY BIRDS would be presenting all your favourite hits (and more!) on 7 July 2024 (Sun), 7pm at the Gateway Theatre!
Having just released their hotly anticipated English single “White Pills”, Tilly Birds is gearing up for a full album of English tracks, aimed ambitiously at the International market. The band has travelled extensively in Asia and Australia in 2023, playing to strong crowds in solo concerts as well as huge festivals like Busan Rock Fest in South Korea, and Clockenflap in Hong Kong.
For the past years, Tilly Birds have been raking up fans globally, garnering big hits like “Same Page” (201 million views on YouTube and covered in the series Bad Buddy), “Just Being Friendly” (205 million views on YouTube and covered in the series My School President), and “Until Then” (143 million views on YouTube, covered in live performances by artistes such as Bright and Gulf), Slipped Your Mind (117 million views on YouTube). Their other gems include, Can’t Have It All, Worth the Wait and Can’t Keep Up. Their constant popularity has kept them soaring on Spotify Top Charts and YouTube Trending Charts.
Formed in 2010, the Thai alternative rock band consists of Third, Billy and Milo. It goes by a fusion of two members’ names “Third” and “Billy”, equating to the quirky but meaningful name “Tilly Birds”. Said the band, “Having the word “Birds” in our brand name, we hope to symbolise our music as something that elevates listeners to a higher place, or in other words making them fly when listening to our songs.”
Tilly Birds’ sophomore album “It’s Gonna Be Okay” was named NME’s Top 25 Best Asian albums of 2021. They also swept awards such as the Best Artiste of the Year, Best Album of The Year and Best Song of the Year awards at the TOTY (Thai Pop of The Year) Awards, Best Thai Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2021. With their new album this year, Tilly Birds look set to fly even higher.
