‘2018 KPMA’ (Korea Popular Music Awards) is about to host their inaugural event in Korea, so expect the K-pop titans to make an appearance. You don’t want to miss this golden opportunity! This is also when you discover who really are the current Kings and Queens of K-Pop, talk is cheap; but voting results are real (to a certain extent).
Korea Popular Music Awards (KPMA) is a new music awards festival, which will feature not only the hottest K-pop stars; but also some of the legendary stars who have led the Korean music industry.
An online voting process is underway, which began on November 26th, for you to nominate and vote for the top K-pop stars in various categories; such as ‘Best Album Award’, ‘Best Group Dance Award’, and so on. You can cast your votes through the KPMA website.
No official line up has been announced just yet, but nominees include Red Velvet, EXO, Wanna One, Chung Ha, Winner, Black Pink, BTS, Mamamoo, Twice, SHINee, Seventeen and many more.
The first wave of line-up that has been released (and is being confirmed in the artistes’ upcoming schedules):
Wanna One, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, MAMAMOO, Momoland, BTOB, Pentagon, Oh My Girl, Tae Jinah, The Boyz, (G)I-DLE, Paul Kim, Ben, Simon Dominic, Shaun, Chungha
