Jakarta. On Tuesday, January 28, JKT48 held a mini-concert show titled ‘JKT48 Festive Concert’ in Studio 8 RCTI, one of the biggest TV station in Indonesia, and streamed worldwide through RCTI’s online channel. The mini-concert was going on in about 2 hours and filled with performances, shows and games from JKT48.
JKT48 performed 6 songs on JKT48 Festive Concert. The first song was ‘JKT Sanjou! – JKT Tiba!’ (trans: JKT is Coming!), and JKT48 continued by asking all the audiences to dance together with ‘Koisuru Fortune Cookie – Fortune Cookie Yang Mencinta’ (trans: Fortune Cookie in Love). After the performance of ‘RIVER’, JKT48 also performed ‘Shoujotachi Yo – Gadis Remaja’ (trans: Girls), and continued with their latest single, ‘Manatsu no Sounds Good – Musim Panas Sounds Good’ (trans: Sounds Good Summer). JKT48 also performed and introduced a new song that will be their next single at the end of the mini-concert, ‘New Ship’.
In JKT48 Festive Concert that hosted by the twins Marcel and Mischa Chandrawinata also filled with variety of things. There were brief interview with some of the members, quick Q&A games with JKT48’s captain, Melody Nuramdhani Laksani, and also a hypnosis show by Kalina with Nabilah Ratna Ayu Azalia, who was chosen as the hypnotism victim. While under hypnosis, Nabilah was forced to answer some of the question honestly. Not only that, she was forced to do a run around on the stage to chase other members and MC.
The highlight of the show was the announcement of JKT48 3rd Generation Audition finalist. The audition process for JKT48 3rd generation has been taken part since November 2013, and there were 200 selected audition participants at the venue. Shout of joy and tears of happiness filled the venue as 64 finalists were announced eligible to take part in the next audition process. So, are you ready for the next 3rd Generation of JKT48?
