GOT7 just made their highly-anticipated comeback with “WINTER HEPTAGON“! Released on January 20, the mini-album consists of nine songs that span various genres. “PYTHON“, the title track, is co-written and co-composed by member BamBam.
Fans of the “If You Do”, “Hard Carry” and “Just Right” singers, I GOT7, or more fondly known as Ahgase, have been eagerly anticipating their return as a full group. Two distinct sets of concept pictures have been released for “WINTER HEPTAGON“, sparking immense excitement among fans. Conveying the difficulty of moving on from their beloved in the lyrics, GOT7 also showcase their smooth choreography in the “PYTHON” music video. Meaningfully, the septet also hold up the GOT7 hand signature while singing “I know I’m an icon”.
The group who just celebrated their 11th anniversary, had news of the group’s comeback finally and hilariously spoiled by Bambam. After his reply to a fan on X which confirmed the comeback, he promptly followed up with a joke that he probably has to hide in the United States.
The GOT7 members have been keeping active after ending their contracts with JYP Entertainment in 2021. They have been individually releasing music and pursuing acting, as well as appearing on many entertainment programmes across different countries. Jackson and Bambam in particular, have visited our sunny Singapore a number of times in the recent years.
Under Warner Music Korea, GOT7 released self-titled EP “GOT7” with title track “Nanana” in May 2022. This time, they are working with Kakao Entertainment for the release of “WINTER HEPTAGON“.
Ticketing has started for <NESTFEST>; GOT7‘s first official concert in six years since their 2019 world tour “Keep Spinning“. The reunion on stage will be happening in Seoul at Olympic Handball Gymnasium on February 1 and 2.
