Nearly two years after their last visit, FT ISLAND reunited with Singapore PRIMADONNAs through their 2026 FTISLAND TOUR 0 — XIX — III ‘FaTe’ in SINGAPORE concert. Consisting of vocalist Lee Hong Ki, bassist Lee Jae Jin, and drummed Choi Minhwan, the veteran rock band transformed the venue with a concept inspired by tarot cards, with the numbers 0, XIX, and III representing different cards that shaped the theme of the tour. Before the members even appeared, eerie instrumentals filled the venue as candlelights illuminated the stage, creating an air of mystery. One by one, the members emerged to roaring cheers, fully drawing the audience into the world of FATE 0-XIX-III from the very first moment.

The concert began with a cloaked figure slowly making his way through the venue before disappearing through the centre door on the stage, making the introduction even more theatrical. Moments later, the members emerged one after another as Hong Ki kicked off the performance as the band launched into the opening set. Fans wasted no time getting on their feet as “SATISFACTION”, “Hourglass” and “Sage” filled the venue with powerful live band energy. The strong start of the show reminded everyone why FT ISLAND remains one of Korea’s most respected rock bands.

Throughout the evening, FT ISLAND showcased a setlist reflecting both sides of their career, performing songs in both Korean and Japanese. As one of the Korean bands that has remained highly active in Japan, the trio seamlessly moved between songs in both languages while maintaining the same level of intensity. Across the venue, fans also proudly waved FT ISLAND’s signature yellow lightsticks alongside mini flags, while star-shaped lights prepared by the Singapore fanbase transformed the audience into a sea of the band’s signature colour.

Beyond the music, FT ISLAND’s playful personalities remained one of the night’s biggest highlights. During “Falling Star”, Hong Ki repeatedly left the stage to run through the audience, even selecting lucky fans to run along with him across the audiences’ seats. The relaxed atmosphere continued during the ment segments as the members enthusiastically tried to show off their English prowess, such as asking for the temperature to be lowered, repeatedly laughing as they shouted “aircon bang bang” to the staff. Hong Ki also playfully complained whenever he felt the audience was not singing with enough emotion, jokingly demanding an even louder response before restarting certain parts. When fans cheekily asked him to remove his shirt, he playfully turned the attention to a male fan in the audience, challenging him to do the same first and sending the venue into laughter. These spontaneous exchanges reflected the easy and comfortable chemistry not only between the members themselves but also with the fans who have supported them over the years.

Long-term fans were treated to nostalgic favourites including “Love Love Love” and “Like Birds”, bringing back memories from different chapters of the band’s career. Singapore PRIMADONNAs also jumped and sang along to rock anthems such as “Rising Star” and “Summer Night’s Dream”.

As the concert entered its final moments, the atmosphere shifted from energetic to heartfelt. Fans filled the venue with a loud singalong before surprising FT ISLAND with a celebratory cake in honour of their upcoming 19th anniversary. The members looked visibly touched by the gesture, expressing their gratitude for the unwavering support despite the challenges they had faced since their previous visit to Singapore.

Looking ahead, Hong Ki shared that the band is preparing a special anniversary album alongside a large-scale concert in Korea to celebrate their 20th anniversary next year. While apologizing that they may not be able to bring it overseas, he warmly invited fans to visit Korea and celebrate their milestone together. As the lights came on and the band members took their final bows, the night not only served as a reunion with the Singapore PRIMADONNAs after two years, but also as another reminder of the enduring bond between the band and fans. The show not only reflected their 10 years of memories and resilience, but also the bond with their fans that will only continue to grow stronger over time.
