The double elimination from episode 4 has rocked the Model house with the girls getting emotional over Celine and Lorretta’s unexpected departure. The competition is getting fiercer and Chesca also felt the pressure with being in the bottom 3. Following the elimination ordeal, the contestants were greeted by Georgina Wilson, Dr. Cecile Infantado, Closeup’s smile expert and Daniel Mananta, a famous Indonesian Actor and VJ, in the theater of an acting school.
For this episode, the girls brought out their best smiles with Dr. Infantado giving them pointers alongside. Daniel Mananta directed the girls to improvise and exaggerate every emotion from expressing deep sadness and to acting like a baby. Amanda failed to participate in the activity with her brief to show anger, feeling that her personality is the complete opposite.
For the first challenge, the girls had to flash their best smile at a handsome stranger whilst taking a selfie! While Melissa and Amanda struggled to find their perfect man, KB brought out her fierce and flirty personality snatching the first photo! The winner got an opportunity to have an intimate dinner with Daniel Mananta himself.
This week’s photoshoot is all about killer smiles and finding your inner actress. For the next challenge, the brief was to stop a guy with one look – without being too commercial. Alex Perry mentored the models in this challenge and gave the girls a different scenario for Closeup’s Diamond Attraction Toothpaste mock campaign.
With 5 weeks in, it was time for the girls to bring their A game, be versatile and prove that they’re top models. With the latest photoshoot, the judges were able to see who has risen to the top and who has sunk to rock bottom.
Top Models must be confident to succeed – next week’s episode is all about styling and being knowledgeable on the latest fashion trends.
