It’s not Broadway hot, but Seoul has its own special shows that you can watch and have fun. From non-verbal to musicals, Seoul offers a plenty of unique shows that are worth watching if you have the time.

  1. Nanta Cookin’ Show

The most popular and the most original show in Korea. Nanta is a non-verbal musical performance combining the Korean traditional music “Samulnori” with acrobatic cooking and dance. Since 1997, Nanta has firmly established itself as the #1 show in Korea.

As the name suggests, it’s a drawing show where performers show a wide range of art techniques mixed with music and humor. Not to be surprised, their body language is quite captivating.

Korea’s famous for B-boy performance and this is a great chance to actually watch it. Based on the theme of “violence in schools”, Kung Festival gives you a parade of B-boying mixed with the most exciting music.

MISO is a Korean traditional show with a long history of performances. The story is based on an old novel from the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910) which alludes to the the hypocrisy of the ruling class and natural human desires.
