Debuting at a larger venue than their previous concert last year, Stray Kids performed at Singapore National Stadium for their <dominATE> World tour on 28 September 2024.
The eight-member group is made up of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Chang Bin, Hyun Jin, Han, Felix, Seung Min and I.N. Stray Kids is the third K-Pop act after BTS and Blackpink to perform at the Singapore National Stadium, which is a testament to their steadily growing popularity. Some of their notable musical achievements in 2024 include headlining the major music festivals like Lollapalooza and having their track “Slash” on the soundtrack of American superhero film Deadpool & Wolverine. Stray Kids has also been recognised by the fashion industry as they made news this year by attending the Met Gala as a full group under the invitation of the designer Tommy Hilfiger. Separately, Felix also made his runway debut at the Paris Fashion Week for Louis Vuitton in March.

Performing many of their chart-topping hits like “LALALALA”, “God’s Menu” and “S-Class”, Stray Kids made sure that their fans, who are also referred to as STAYs, had an unforgettable time. The leader of the group, Bang Chan, noticed the crowd were on their feet throughout the show and showed his concern for them by telling everyone they could sit down if they wanted to although the crowd remained hyper and up the entire show.
STAYs were treated to a variety of solo performances by each member, from a fresh performance by Lee Know with “Youth” to the mesmerizing “Unfair” by Felix. Having most of their talk time in English, Seung Min made STAYs laugh when he turned down Chang Bin’s invitation to have our local Pepper Crab dish together, citing the reason to be that Chang Bin eats two servings.

During the photo time, video and banner projects prepared by Singapore STAYs surprised the boys. The quote of the banner, “The sun will always be there waiting after the rain”, comes from their song “Cover Me” which definitely touched Stray Kids and made them smile when they realised. Bang Chan thanked the fans for taking time to prepare the projects which were unexpected and meant a lot to them. Declaring that the biggest thing that really sets them out a little differently as compared to others is the fact that they really love each other, Bang Chan also mentioned sincerely that that chemistry and heart itself is also given to STAYs.
“We will not stop, we will keep straying and you guys hopefully, will keep staying by our side. “ – Bang Chan
Concluding the concert with older hits like “Miroh” and a remix of their megaviral “Chk Chk Boom”, Stray Kids definitely made sure the concert ended with a big and remarkable boom. A water fight also ensued as fans cheered on members pouring or spraying water and taking each other by surprise during the encore stage.
We look forward to their future releases and their next visit to Singapore!
