31 January 2015, Singapore – Sleek dance moves, catchy tunes, and futuristic graphics are terms we can relate closely to the youth of current times. These are exactly what can be found in Singapore Polytechnic’s (SP) music video titled “So Possible”, which is sweeping many off their feet.
Gone are lifeless posters featuring alumni student testimonials. Now, we have students dancing in sync with very professionally done 3-dimensional projections! The music video is definitely a visual and audio spectacle, created by Singapore Polytechnic’s Diploma in Music and Audio Technology (DMAT) students, who wrote, produced and performed the original song; and Diploma in Digital Animation (DDA) students, who were responsible for some animation sequences.
With this new production, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) wrote themselves in history as the first local education institution to make such a bold move in promoting the school to their potential students.
The focus is on the cool courses that Singapore Polytechnic currently offers to potential students. It is also undeniable that the video production itself will be the best showcase for the students who are able to pick up valuable skills from the Diploma in Music and Audio Technology (DMAT) and Diploma in Digital Animation (DDA) courses.
Apart from academic life, the music video also featured students from the award-winning SP Dragon boat team and Taiko clubs to shed some light on the vibrant student life at SP.
