Coming from JYP Entertainment’s sub-label SQU4D, newest up and coming girl group NMIXX which consists of members, Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Yujin, had their first showcase tour “Nice to MIXX You” in Singapore on 23 June 2023 at the Star Theatre! They had officially debuted in February 2022 with the single album AD MARE, which introduces a genre called Mixx Pop and has since dazzled fans with their bright and energetic concept all over the world.
As they started their tour all the way from America and with Singapore being their 12th stop of the tour, their fans, NSWERs, had highly anticipated for their live performances and to hear their amazing vocals with raw authenticity. The show kicked off with the title songs of their first album, TANK and O.O. The experimental and catchy beats made the crowd cheered for more and hence, they delivered with PAXX WORD and Just Did It from their latest album, expergo.
A showcase not just for their own songs but also to greet the audience with their overflowing talents, NMIXX performed to labelmate TWICE’s song TT and managed to entice their fans further with their explosive dance moves to Hey Mama. It was a plus treat for all eyes to see and although Lily lead most of the communication in English, the other members shined through with their wit and quirky answers in response.
Their addictive tracks like Young, Dumb, Stupid and Love Me Like This got the wildest reactions from the crowd and the song, My Gosh which are dedicated to their fans fueled the girls more to sing their heart out. As the concert was approaching to an end, shouts of encore filled the atmosphere and the girls returned with a remix version of O.O. NMIXX thanked their NSWERS for all their support and teased them to look forward to their comeback with a single album, A Midsummer Nmixx’s Dream.
