NMIXX’s <EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER> Singapore Concert Ends In Tears And Heartfelt Promises

Rising girl group NMIXX returned to Singapore after three years, bringing their NMIXX 1ST WORLD TOUR <EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER> IN SINGAPORE to The Star Theatre on 20 June 2026. Comprising LILY, Haewon, Sullyoon, BAE, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, the group is currently on their first world tour following their global breakthrough with “Blue Valentine“, released in October last year.

Opening the show in white and silver outfits, NMIXX kicked things off with a series of fan favourites, including their debut track “O.O“, alongside “Run For Roses” and “RICO“. During a special introduction segment prepared for Singapore, the members expressed their excitement at returning to the country, sprinkling their greetings with Singlish phrases such as, “We’ll have a great time today, confirm plus chop!”

The members also explained the meaning behind <EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER>, describing it as the beginning of a new journey shared between NMIXX and NSWER, their fandom, as they step into a new world together.

Songs such as “BOOM“, “DASH” and “Young, Dumb, Stupid” drew enthusiastic responses from the crowd, but it was older tracks like “DICE” and “TANK” that sparked some of the loudest fan chants of the night.

One particularly amusing moment came when LILY burst into laughter after noticing fans’ reactions to the confetti effects. She commented that everyone seemed completely immersed in the performance and found their excitement both adorable and funny, before joking that the confetti was a special part of the concert experience, so it was alright for fans to be concentrating on it instead of her high note.

Backed by a live band throughout the evening, NMIXX delivered fresh arrangements of their songs that added another dimension to the performance. Many tracks had fans on their feet dancing along, while “Shape of Love” transformed the venue into a sea of phone flashlights. The members frequently engaged with the audience, encouraging fans to sing and shout louder so that “this concert hall becomes the hottest place in Singapore.”

The concert later shifted into a darker and more mature atmosphere as the members appeared in black leather outfits for performances of “High Horse” and “SPINNIN’ ON IT“, both of which featured dance breaks. The main set concluded with the group’s recent hits “Blue Valentine” and “Heavy Serenade“.

The encore opened with “TIC TIC” and “Funky Glitter Christmas“, a choice that drew laughs from us given that it was June. The members spent much of the segment freely roaming the stage and interacting with fans, with Sullyoon carrying a teddy bear backpack that quickly became a talking point among the members.

NSWER also prepared a fan-made VCR and a slogan event bearing the message, “Whatever shape and colour, NSWER will love NMIXX“. The members later revealed that they could hear fans singing the English version of “Blue Valentine” while waiting backstage for the encore. The fan project set the tone for an emotional ending to the night, which eventually concluded with “ADORE U“.

While every member delivered a strong performance, the absence of Sullyoon from much of the choreography was noticeable. Due to an injury, she spent most of the concert performing from a chair at the side of the stage during dance-heavy songs. As much of NMIXX’s discography relies on intricate group formations, the empty spaces where her positions would normally be were difficult to miss.

During the ending speeches, LILY began by giving a special mention to the boss from their management company, JYP Entertainment who was present at the concert. Reflecting on the fan-made VCR, she shared how happy she was to return to Singapore and show fans different sides of herself with every visit while still remaining true to who she is. Delighted by the crowd’s energy throughout the night, she ended her speech affectionately with, “I love you la.”

The evening’s most emotional moment came from Sullyoon. She admitted that after sitting through rehearsals the day before, she had worried that the concert would not be as enjoyable as she had hoped. However, performing in front of NSWER changed those feelings completely. Promising to return in better condition next time, she apologised for not being able to fully participate in the performance before breaking down in tears as she spoke about how much she had wanted to be on stage. Fans responded with loud cheers of support, prompting Sullyoon to thank them and tell them that they were the best.

Several members also took time to acknowledge the efforts of the fans. Jiwoo said she had noticed both the slogan banners and how many NSWER had dressed up specially for the concert, expressing her gratitude for everything they had prepared. Kyujin thanked fans for listening to and supporting NMIXX’s music, promising that the group would continue bringing happiness through even better performances and songs. She also assured fans that NMIXX would return to Singapore as an even more improved version of themselves. Haewon, meanwhile, reflected on the many emotions she had experienced throughout the tour and joked that NSWER seemed even prettier than when they last met three years ago.

BAE’s speech struck a chord with many in the audience as she spoke about the bond between the members and their support for one another. Praising Sullyoon for doing her best despite her condition, she shared that performing the choreography with five members reminded her once again that NMIXX is only complete when all six members are together. She expressed gratitude for having met both her members and NSWER, and hoped they would continue making precious memories together for years to come. Before ending her speech, she once again turned to Sullyoon and told her she had done a great job.

Before leaving the stage, the members made their way to each section of the venue to wave goodbye and thank fans one last time.

With a successful first world tour underway and songs such as “Blue Valentine” and “Heavy Serenade” continuing to resonate with listeners worldwide, we look forward to NMIXX’s future releases and their next return to Singapore.
