In partnership with GMG, Nike welcomes NewJeans to Nike Orchard Road for their first-ever performance in Singapore on 3 February 2024. The all-female group comprised of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein help Nike expand the definition of sport to invite more consumers, mainly women and girls, into the community.
Nike believes women and girls are the future of sport, and the brand is committed to bringing meaningful product innovation, store design and in-real-life experiences for her via Nike Orchard Road.
Nike Orchard Road
Designed to be more than a store, Nike Orchard Road has three levels and occupies 28,000 square feet of space, which makes it the company’s largest mono-brand Nike store in Asia outside of China.
Select Nike Members (chosen via the Nike App) attended the exclusive event, where they were not only treated to NewJeans’ performance, but also a Q&A session and a member-only shopping party with exclusive access to products, including the new Air Max 90 LV8 and two new designs at the Nike By You x NewJeans customization experience, which is only available at this Singapore store.
At their first-ever performance in Singapore, NewJeans performed Ditto, New Jeans, ETA and OMG in the Air Max 90 LV8, and also expressed their wishes to return to Singapore again to perform a longer set, in front of more Bunnies.
Air Max 90 LV8
The Air Max 90 LV8 (worn by NewJeans during the performance!) takes the iconic Air Max 90 silhouette to the next level with stacked Nike Air units.
The extra cushioning and extra height create the perfect platform that’s easy to style, or to give you that extra boost in height when you are moshing at the standing pens. Layered materials in washed neutrals add texture and dimension for an elevated look.
Nike By You
On the third floor, Nike By You allows Nike Members to express their creativity in an immersive customization experience. In celebration of the band’s performance, Nike Members can personalize select apparel purchased in-store with a bespoke set of Nike By You x NewJeans graphics for a limited time while supplies last.
The Nike By You x NewJeans graphics take inspiration from sport, Singapore and Nike. The graphics range from a subtle interpretation of Singapore, signifying their visit to the Garden City, to designs of Bunnies participating in sport or rocking their favorite new Nike Air Max.
The Nike By You x NewJeans customization experience launched on 30 January, exclusively for Nike Members at Nike Orchard Road.
