Czennies, 7DREAM finally arrived! After previous shows where some members were absent, NCT DREAM finally arrived in Singapore with all seven members – Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. A sub-unit of SM Entertainment’s NCT, the group is known for their concept reflecting dreams and a sense of youthful optimism. On their fourth tour, The Dream Show 4: Dream the Future, the members took fans on a futuristic journey through time, reflecting on their nine-year history and dreaming towards a future together.
NCT Dream opened their Singapore stop with a grand entrance of “BTTF”. The show’s stage design and effects were also prominent through the various songs, from bubbles drifting through “We Young” to bursts of confetti during “Candy” and “Trigger the Fever”. Fans were especially captivated by the ethereal stage for “Best of Me”, where the members appeared in capsule-like pods and danced blindfolded.
Each member also had a moment to shine through their individual dance breaks. Mark and Jisung wowed the crowd with “Ridin”, Haechan and Chenle with “1, 2, 3”, Jaemin and Jeno impressing their synchronicity in “Stronger”, and Renjun with his graceful stage presence in “Moonlight”. Although fans were slightly disappointed that “Graduation” did not make the setlist, their encore chants for the song moved the members, who eventually hummed along to it when they reappeared on stage, a heartfelt moment perfectly wrapping up the night.
Beyond their performances, NCT Dream’s warmth and humor shone through their talk segments with fans. The members greeted the crowd in multiple languages (Korean, English, Mandarin), thanking their Singapore fans for keeping the energy high throughout the night. They shared how much they missed performing in Singapore, with heartfelt reminders for fans to stay safe and healthy. Jaemin, in particular, constantly reminded fans to eat well and keep their energy up so they could enjoy the show without falling sick.
Their interactions were also filled with laughter and camaraderie, from a spontaneous push-up competition between Jaemin, Jeno and Haechan, to playful banter and affectionate moments highlighting their close bonds. Fans were kept engaged at every turn, especially when Haechan and Jaemin stepped off stage to greet the fans up-close.
As the show slowly came to an end, NCT Dream shared their gratitude for the support received from their fans that allowed for their return back to Singapore. Jisung even specially mentioned his mother, who came for the Singapore show, as his greatest motivation. With the love and support from the fans, NCT Dream promised to return soon with new music and performance, and hopefully back to Singapore for another show as well. The night closed with a touching fan project, as the audience lit up the stands with a “SG <3 드림” message, ending the concert on a heartfelt note of connection and appreciation.
