Robert Pattinson has recently discovered the way to the hearts of his Korean fans! The actor was in Seoul for the first time to promote his new film “Mickey 17” with the director of the movie Bong Joonho.
At the press conference for the film, he drove the audience into a frenzy when he tried to do the popular Korean ‘finger heart’ with his awkward attempt making the good-natured actor laugh at himself. Despite the initial mishap, he then formed a successful heart with Bong Joonho quickly.
Robert Pattinson plays the lead role in the film as Mickey, an “expendable” – a disposable crew member on a space mission, selected for dangerous tasks because he can be renewed if his body dies, with his memories largely intact. However Mickey 17, unintentionally survives and complicates everything.

The sci-fi film is based on Edward Ashton’s novel “Mickey 7“, with Bong Joonho revealing the reason for the change in number due to him killing Mickey more than 10 times. Mickey 17 will be Bong Joonho‘s first feature film after Oscar-winning psychological satire Parasite.
The movie also stars Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo.

Whether you knew him as Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire“, Edward Cullen in “The Twilight” saga film series or more recently as Bruce Wayne/Batman in “The Batman” movie, Robert Pattinson is definitely a familiar face to many. We look forward to his collaboration with Bong Joonho in Mickey 17!
