Starship’s New 5-Member Group KiiiKiii Drops “I DO ME” MV and Unveils ‘Jam Factory’ Concept Website

Starship Entertainment’s Gen Z charm-filled new group KiiiKiii, has made a bold entrance by releasing their debut title track music video as the first official content of their debut promotions. The music video revealed KiiiKiii as a 5-member group.

On 16th February, Starship Entertainment surprised everyone by uploading the music video for KiiiKiii’s debut title track, ‘I DO ME’, on their official YouTube channel. Skipping the usual teaser releases and going straight for a full MV release, Starship Entertainment created a powerful impact with their bold promotional strategy.

The surprise release of the ‘I DO ME’ music video, which revealed no information aside from the group’s name, immediately sparked intense curiosity. The blend of a mysterious concept, addictive sound and the members’ captivating performances created a buzz, skyrocketing anticipation levels for KiiiKiii’s debut promotions. Within 12 hours, the music video climbed to #1 on YouTube Korea’s trending videos, and as of 10AM on 18th February, it had already surpassed 2.19 million views, signalling an explosive start for the group.

The ‘I DO ME’ music video was filmed in New Zealand, capturing each member’s individuality against vast, breathtaking landscapes. The video opens with a wide shot of rolling fields with sheep running across, boasting cinematic, art-film-like visuals. The unique direction seamlessly blends the five members’ charms with the overwhelming beauty of nature, highlighting the distinctive colours and identities of KiiiKiii.

The pre-release track ‘I DO ME’ highlights KiiiKiii’s bold and confident charm. It is a pop-dance song that expresses the independent mindset of a girl who trusts her instincts and lives life with confidence. The song’s dreamy synthesizer sounds in the intro immediately grabs attention, while deep disco drum beats drive the rhythm. The blend of emotional vocal harmonies and groovy rhythms resonates with both the ears and heart.

With an unprecedented promotional strategy and unique concept, KiiiKiii has already heightened anticipation and is expected to pioneer a new wave in K-pop, moving beyond the framework of a typical rookie group.

KiiiKiii’s bold move continues beyond their music video release. On 17th February, they surprise-launched their official website, unveiling the members’ profiles and stage names for the first time. The website introduces the group in a refreshingly unique way, using a “Jam Factory” concept — a creative design element rarely seen in K-pop, further reinforcing KiiiKiii’s playful yet distinct identity.

The five KiiiKiii members revealed on the website are JIYU, LEESOL, SUI, HAUM and KYA. Each member brings their own distinct personality and charm, blending together to form KiiiKiii’s unique team identity, further heightening anticipation for the music they will bring to the table.

Meanwhile, KiiiKiii is set to release their pre-debut track, ‘I DO ME’ on 24th February, and their debut album, “UNCUT GEM” on 24th March. With aesthetic and innovative music, striking visuals, and a strategy designed for the multi-platform era, KiiiKiii aims to carve out a new direction in K-pop.
