PSYCHIC FEVER is a dynamic seven‑member J‑Pop boy band managed by LDH Japan. The members include Tsurugi, Ryoga, Ren, Jimmy, Kokoro, Ryushin, and Weesa.
The group debuted in July 2022 with their debut album P.C.F. It showcased a blend of dance‑pop, hip‑hop, and R&B, quickly earning both chart success and industry recognition.
After their debut, the group quickly ventured into international markets in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
Their single “Just Like Dat feat. JP THE WAVY” went viral across TikTok and Spotify, fueling their presence at major festivals like SXSW 2025 and Japan Expo Paris.
There, they held a joint concert with BALLISTIK BOYZ.
We met with them ahead of their performance together with CKJPOPNEWS and Nautiljon for a collaborative interview.

PSYCHIC FEVER : Hello, we are PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE
Kokoro : Nice to meet you ! [In french]
Jimmy : I am Jimmy.
Ryoga : I am Ryoga.
Weesa : I am Weesa.
Kokoro : I am Kokoro.
Ryushin : I am Ryushin.
Ren: I am Ren.
Tsurugi : I am Tsurugi.
You recently released the EP entitled PSYCHIC file III, can you tell us more about it?
Kokoro : We have released Psychic File III, which includes four new tracks. We wanted to show our growth which is why the songs have a more mature atmosphere. Gelato is a song about summer love. It is like a fresh breeze on a summer evening, with a sensual and adult side. We hope you will listen to it this summer.
You celebrate your third anniversary this year. How do you plan to celebrate?
Weesa : Having a live performance in Paris today is, in our eyes, the perfect celebration.

You’ll soon have several fanmeetings in Europe. Can you tell us more about it?
Ryoga : Yes, we will have fanmeetings in Europe. This will be our first time so we really look forward to talking with our fans through Q&A, games,… We might also perform a few songs. It will strengthen our bond with the fans.
Regarding tonight’s show (25/07/04), how are you getting ready for it? What do you feel about performing next to BALLISTIK BOYZ?
Jimmy : Of course we will perform songs. But it will also be a way to highlight the power of our label LDH, and to show what Japanese groups are capable of. We will have collaboration stages and we will sing anime songs. It is a good opportunity to get more people to know about us.
Since the last time you came at Japan Expo, many things have happened in your career. What left the deepest impression on you?
Kokoro : Indeed, early this year we held a US tour and it was one of our main goals. It really meant a lot to us. We also finished our Japan tour last month. But the US one really helped us grow.

Can you tell us more about your Japan tour?
Ren : Yes, as we just said we just finished our Evolve Tour in Japan last month. I have particularly noticed how fans react differently in Japan and in Europe depending on the songs we perform. Some songs don’t lead to the same reaction depending on whether you are in Japan or in Europe. It was very interesting because you learned a lot from these experiences and we could adapt our setlists depending on the countries we visit.
Among all of your songs, which one expresses your energy as a group the most?
Tsurugi : It is the song “Just Like Dat”, because it is the one that made us popular abroad. This is the reason why we are in France today, and why we have so many opportunities abroad. It really embodies who we are, and helps people connect to us.
Your outfits today are really nice. Did you take part in their design?
Kokoro : Thank you very much! Yes, Jimmy is the one who worked on it.
Jimmy : Indeed, well, it feels like I,m promoting it (*laughter*) but it’s MD from our brand PCF Apparel Department. Each year, I design everything from A to Z, and make sure to create sportswear clothes adequate for all the members, including to dance. You can definitely buy them in France, so shop online!

Are there any other upcoming projects that you could tell us about?
Kokoro : Yes, actually we have a lot of announcements this month. We have our fanmeetings, and we are part of the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan next month. We have many events each month and in different countries, and we also work on music projects that we haven’t revealed yet so we can’t talk about it. So we hope fans will keep following us!
Do you have a message for your french fans?
Kokoro : Yes! First of all, thank you so much for the warm support that you give us. I honestly believe that it’s thanks to you that we were able to come to Paris, in France. We hope you can continue to support us, because we will do our best to reach our dreams, and give it back to you.
We would like to thank PSYCHIC FEVER and Japan Expo for this interview.
