With WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2025 just around the corner, fans are counting down the days until JUNNY takes the stage at one of the city’s most exciting summer festivals! We caught up with the talented artist ahead of his first WATERBOMB performance to talk festival prep, who he’d love to bring on stage for a water fight, and what keeps bringing him back to our sunny island.
| Q: Fans in Singapore are excited to have you back! This time, you’ll be performing at WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2025, which is a very different stage compared to your previous concerts here. What can fans look forward to in your set this time? |
| JUNNY: It’s my first time playing at Waterbomb so I’m actually kind of nervous and excited at the same time. My set will be a bit different from my original just for this show, so hope the fans will enjoy it as well as the people who are there to have a good time! |
| Q: Is there a particular song you are most excited to perform live at WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2025? What makes it perfect for this kind of summer festival? |
| JUNNY: Probably have to say “INVITATION”, just because the song is well known by people that particularly not know who I am, so making a good impression is what I’m most excited for. The song also has good energy that goes well with the weather we are having these days. |
| Q: What is one thing you think fans should bring with them to fully enjoy the WATERBOMB experience? |
| JUNNY: Just their good vibes and great energy to enjoy and have fun. That’s what’s important! |
| Q: If you could bring one artist, from anywhere in the world, on stage to join you in a water fight during your set, who would it be and why? |
| JUNNY: I think it would be fun to have JAY B on stage with me, just because I’d win the fight for sure! (laugh) |
| Q: Preparing for a festival like WATERBOMB must be quite different from a regular concert. Are there any specific preparations you’re making, such as training, fitness routines, or diet changes? |
| JUNNY: Might have to wear some swimming trunks lol. |
| Q: What was your initial reaction when you found out you were invited to perform at WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2025? |
| JUNNY: Amazing, felt awesome to be able to play here and just thought “I’ll show ‘em a good time” |
| Q: Please share your favourite memory about Singapore and what you are most looking forward to doing during your visit this time around. |
| JUNNY: The good food and hospitality, seeing the fans out in Singapore is always awesome and just to come back because my last experience was so great! |
| Q: For new listeners who may be seeing you for the first time at WATERBOMB, which song would you recommend they check out to get to know your music? |
| JUNNY: Most likely songs that are energetic like OPTIMIST, INVITATION, RUSH etc. Oh maybe songs from the new album too! |
| Q: When you’re relaxing or taking a break, are there any dramas, variety shows, or YouTube channels that have caught your interest lately? What do you enjoy about them? |
| JUNNY: I usually watch a lot of tech related videos, also just random vacation vlogs when I feel the urge to go somewhere. |
| Q: We are already in the second half of the year! If you have a break in your schedule, where would you travel to before the year ends? And why that destination in particular? |
| JUNNY: Singapore. Where else? ☺ |
| Q: Lastly, do you have a message for your Singaporean fans who have been eagerly waiting for your return and are excited to see you at WATERBOMB SINGAPORE 2025? |
