Infinite Challenge, Korea’s number one rating variety show, proved to be the biggest star at the 42nd Korean Broadcasting Prizes, taking home the ‘Daesang’ or grand prize at last night’s event in Seoul. This annual award show organized by Korea Association of Broadcasters recognizes individuals as well as drama, variety shows and news for their outstanding contribution and achievement.
Infinite Challenge now in its 11th year of production is Korea’s most watched variety show hosted by a bunch of wacky personalities who will take on challenges that are often silly, absurd, or impossible to achieve. Some of the most famous hosts on this largely unscripted long lasting entertainment show by MBC includes Yoo Jae Suk, Park Myung Soo, HaHa, Jung Hyung Don, Jung Jun Ha and Kwang Hee (ZE:A).
Infinite Challenge airs in Singapore, on the same week as Korea, every Saturday at 8.00pm exclusively on Oh!K. The show is available with English, Chinese and Bahasa Malay subtitles. In earlier episodes, the show’s hosts have continuously proclaimed (albeit tongue in cheek) that in order to achieve its comedic purposes, the program was broadcast in 3D: Dirty, Dangerous, and Difficult. They will stop at nothing to bring endless laughter and entertainment.
Oh!K is available on StarHub TV Channel 816, and Singtel TV Channel 525 (Mandarin) and Channel 611 (Malay).
