gugudan, an up and coming girl group in South Korea, will be hosting their first fan meeting in Singapore this September! MyMusicTaste and Jellyfish Entertainment are proud to present the gugudan Live Show in Singapore 2017.
After receiving a great number of requests from fans in Singapore, MyMusicTaste – an online service that brings together music fans to request their favorite artist’s concert – and Jellyfish Entertainment teamed up to organize this special meeting for Dear Friends, gugudan’s official fandom.
gugudan Live Show in Singapore 2017 will take place at The Mastercard Sands Theater on September 27, 2017 at 7:30PM. Presale tickets, available to those who requested gugudan on MyMusicTaste to gugudan Live Show in Singapore 2017, will be available August 22, 2017 at 4PM SGT with general sales beginning August 24, 2017 at 4PM SGT.
After debuting in 2016, gugudan has quickly risen to be one of the hottest new girl groups. Consisting of nine talented members, gugudan has been widely acclaimed for their vocal prowess and outstanding onstage presence. Prior to their debut, three of the members – Nayoung, Sejeong and Mina – had already gained wide public recognition through Produce 101, a popular girl group survival show. Sejeong and Mina were selected to be the members of Produce 101’s project girl group IOI, demonstrating each member’s musical talent to the public. gugudan’s debut mini album, “Act1 The Little Mermaid”, peaked at no. 2 on Gaon Album Chart during its first week. Their second mini album “Act 2 Narcissus”, was released in February 2017 and also was a critical and commercial success, debuting at no. 3 on Gaon Album Chart. As a rookie to the music scene, the group has already garnered numerous nominations and awards, including nominations from Mnet Asian Music Awards and Gaon Chart Music Awards, each known as one of Korea’s most prestigious music awards. Their title songs “Wonderland” and “A Girl Like Me” together currently have over 11 million views on Youtube.
